Hello! My name is Jordan Webb and I am a trumpet player and teacher bouncing back and forth between Austin, Texas and Tokyo, Japan. Interested in taking trumpet lessons with me? My studio currently consists of students on the local and international level thanks to video chat technology. If you are a student in the Austin area, specifically at Vandegrift HS, James Bowie HS, Canyon Ridge MS, Four Points MS, or Small MS, good news! I already make personal trips to your school each week. Not an Austinite? No problem. I teach lessons online via Skype, FaceTime, and Zoom.

When I'm not in the US teaching trumpet lessons, you can find me eating ramen somewhere in Japan, where I have been touring for extended periods of time since 2016 with shows such as 'Blast! The Music of Disney' and 'One Piece - Oto Utage' as a trumpet player, french horn swing, and conductor.

Prior to my current life of teaching trumpet and traveling in Japan, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I received my BA in Trumpet Performance and my Master of Arts in Teaching. My most influential trumpet and brass pedagogy teachers include Jim Ketch, professor of Trumpet at UNC-CH, Mark Clodfelter, professor of Trumpet at the University of Delaware, and the brass staff at Carolina Crown, where I marched from 2008-2010. The marching arts has always been one of my greatest passions, and I'm very excited to be continuing my involvement with the activity working with Santa Clara Vanguard this upcoming season.

In the past, I've had the pleasure to support the marching arts in my home state of North Carolina through my involvement with Carolina Gold Performing Arts located in Raleigh, NC, from 2011 through 2016. My roles with the organization included Visual Caption Head, Visual Designer, Corps Director and Winds Unit Director. I also have the pleasure of continuing my passion as a visual designer serving as an adjudicator and drill writer.
